A disturbing incident has come to light out of Fengxian County in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, where a kindergarten teacher stands accused of intentionally burning a young girl's lips with a hot glue stick and physically abusing multiple other children in the classroom.

The nightmare began just a few days ago when a local mother, Ms. Zhou, noticed something terribly wrong with her daughter after picking her up from the Fengxian Government Second Kindergarten (Shiyan Branch). The little girl, who is currently in the second-year class, had a severely blistered lip that quickly began to fester and leak pus once they got home.
Naturally, Ms. Zhou immediately reached out to the teacher for an explanation. At first, the teacher claimed the injury was the child’s own fault, later shifting the story to call it an "accidental burn." Refusing to let it go, the mother called the police, and it was only after reviewing the classroom surveillance footage that the horrifying truth came to light.
The security footage painted a completely different picture from the teacher's excuses. According to media reports, the video showed a heartbreaking scene where multiple children were lined up in the classroom to be punished. The teacher in question could be seen pinching the children's mouths and intentionally pressing a hot glue stick onto their lips. When Ms. Zhou's daughter cried out in sheer pain, the teacher didn’t stop—she dragged the little girl back and burned her lip a second time. To make matters worse, she was also seen roughly shoving and hitting the child. What makes it even more shocking is that other teachers were present in the classroom at the time, yet they did absolutely nothing to step in and stop the abuse.
The backlash was immediate as the family took to social media to share what happened, prompting a swift reaction from local authorities. By May 29, the Fengxian County Education Bureau confirmed that they had stepped in alongside the local police, who have officially opened a criminal case. The Chengdong Police Station acknowledged that a report had been filed by the parents, though they noted that specific details cannot be disclosed while the investigation is active.
Later that same afternoon, the Fengxian County Education Bureau issued an official statement to address the growing public outrage. They stated that upon receiving reports of a kindergarten teacher inappropriately treating students, the bureau highly valued the matter and rapidly formed an investigation team to handle the situation alongside relevant departments.
As for the immediate consequences, the bureau announced that the teacher involved has already been suspended from duty and is facing a full police investigation. Officials have assigned dedicated personnel to provide psychological counseling for the affected students.
