The 140th Canton Fair will take place in Guangzhou from October 15 to November 4, 2026. But the fair is divided into three separate phases—and showing up during the wrong one could mean missing the products you actually came to see.
The exhibition will cover about 1.55 million square metres and is expected to bring together more than 30,000 companies. The previous session drew 314,000 overseas buyers from 220 countries and regions, according to information published by China’s Ministry of Commerce.
Choose the right phase
Advanced Manufacturing October 15–19 Electronics and home appliances, industrial manufacturing, hardware and tools, lighting and electrical products, new-energy vehicles, smart mobility, industrial automation, new energy and service robots. | |
Quality Home Life October 23–27 Building materials, furniture, household products, kitchenware, gifts, decorations, ceramics, garden products and fashion accessories. | |
Better Life October 31–November 4 Clothing, textiles, shoes, bags, food, sports and travel products, toys, maternity and baby products, pet products, personal care, medicine, health products and medical devices. |
The fair will be closed while exhibitors change over on October 20–22 and October 28–30.

Overseas buyers need a buyer badge
Overseas buyers need a Canton Fair Buyer Badge to enter. If you still have a valid buyer badge from a previous session, the fair says it can be used again.
First-time visitors are encouraged to pre-register through the official Buyer Service System before arriving. After pre-registration, applicants should bring:
• Their original valid identity document, such as a foreign passport
• The electronic or printed pre-registration receipt
• A company business card
The organiser recommends collecting the badge before reaching the exhibition complex. Remote registration points are available at locations such as Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, selected hotels and the Canton Fair’s Hong Kong office. On-site registration is also available, but queues may be longer.
