Primary pupils crafted horse-themed art for an online auction benefiting Stepping Stones, while the Wellbeing Committee promoted wellness.

Concordia Hosts Robotics Championship


In early February, Concordia International School Shanghai hosted the ACAMIS China National Finals for VEX V5 and VEX IQ, welcoming 101 top-qualifying teams from 28 international schools across China.


The event brought together some of the country's strongest young engineers for a high-level robotics championship.


Competing against the best in the region, Concordia students earned multiple top distinctions, including Tournament Champion, Robot Skills Champion, Tournament Finalist, and several judged awards recognizing excellence in engineering design, innovation, and strategic thinking.


One Concordia team currently holds the #1 global ranking in the VEX Robot Skills standings, placing them firmly on the pathway to the VEX Robotics World Championship in April.


The championship reflects Concordia's continued leadership in STEM education and competitive robotics in Shanghai.

Dulwich Puxi Mustang Swimmers Shine at FOBISIA Championships

Dulwich Puxi Mustang swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at the FOBISIA Swimming Championships, competing against over 600 athletes from across Asia.


Over three days of intense competition, the team demonstrated remarkable determination and sportsmanship, achieving personal bests across all age groups and securing over 20 medals.


The Boys 10 & Under team claimed second place in the 200 Freestyle Relay and fourth in the 200 Medley Relay, showcasing composure on the international stage.


In a remarkable achievement, Quentin F and Harry C broke FOBISIA records in the 50 Freestyle for their respective age groups. 


Dulwich could not be prouder of the Mustangs' exceptional performance and team spirit!

How SAS is Leading the Conversation on AI & Learning

Shanghai American School recently hosted its second 'Seizing the Moment: Inspiring Learners Today to Transform Tomorrow' conference, welcoming more than 600 educators from SAS and peer schools for two days of professional learning and collaboration.


With over 100 sessions led by teachers and students, the conference focused on how artificial intelligence can support deeper thinking rather than replacing it.


Keynote speakers challenged educators to treat AI as a thought partner, rethink assessment to value process over product, and prepare students for a rapidly changing world.


Student presenters also shared how technology is shaping their learning. The conference reinforced SAS's commitment to innovation, strong values, and meaningful professional growth for educators.

Britannica International Day Celebrates Languages & Cultures

Britannica marked International Day with a vibrant celebration of its community's diversity. 


The morning began with teachers delivering lessons in over 30 languages, followed by cultural displays, games, activities, and traditional food.


The school extends special thanks to parents for their tremendous efforts in making the event a memorable success for all the children.

Dulwich Pudong Celebrates Sporting & Academic Triumphs

The Dulwich Football Academy U14 team made history by winning the top division title with a 5-0 final victory. The co-ed squad's possession-based play showcased football for all.


Meanwhile, the Dulwich Dynamos STEM Racing team secured their third consecutive Regional Championship, winning the Overall Winner and Best Engineering Portfolio awards.


In the pool, their AquaPanthers claimed the U11-12 Girls' title at SSL Round 3, breaking multiple school records.


Finally, 18 musicians impressed at the ISCMS festival in Qingdao, with one student receiving a highly commended award.

NAIS Pudong Launches Family Referral Program

Shanghai French School Talent Shows & New Year Activities


February was an exciting and festive month at Shanghai French School, with both Yangpu and Qingpu campuses filled with creativity, talent, and cultural celebration.


At the beginning of the month, students proudly took the stage during the Extracurricular Activities Show, a vibrant celebration of the work accomplished throughout the semester. Performances ranged from hip hop dance and Zumba to Kung Fu, musical theatre, and singing.


At Shanghai French School, extracurricular activities are an essential part of student life from kindergarten onward, with more than 70 extracurricular activities available, covering sports, arts, culture, and creative experiences.


Later in the month, the school came alive with celebrations for Chinese New Year. Across both campuses, students of all grades immersed themselves in a week of joyful festivities to welcome the Year of the Horse.


The celebrations featured stunning performances, including traditional dances in colorful costumes and heartfelt Chinese songs.


February was truly a month of celebration—bringing together creativity, cultural diversity, and shared moments of joy across the school community.

Ms. Maxine Lu, General Principal of Xiehe Education, was invited to attend the 2025 Hurun | Dazzling Future Education Ceremony as a guest and deliver a keynote speech.


Centered on the theme 'Where East Meets West, Five Qualities Flourish,' she shared insights into Xiehe's holistic education ecosystem.


At the ceremony, Ms. Lu was honoured as a '2025 Influential Figure in Education,' while Xiehe Education Group received the '2025 International Education Influence Brand' award.
