The city of Jinhua continues to lead Zhejiang Province in attracting international professionals, with official data showing more than 9,000 foreigners currently holding valid work permits - maintaining its top position for six consecutive years.
Recently, three cross-border e-commerce experts from Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda and Ethiopia successfully obtained their work permits and residence documents after being certified as qualified foreign e-commerce talents in Jinhua.
Since 2025 began, the city has issued 18 "Join in Cards", ranking first in Zhejiang for this special talent incentive program. The "Join in Card" system offers streamlined services and benefits to attract high-level professionals from abroad.
Local authorities highlight Jinhua's business-friendly policies and efficient administrative procedures as key factors in its success at attracting and retaining international talent, particularly in emerging industries like digital trade.
