Twins' Joint Engagement Ceremony : Captivate Millions Online

A unique engagement ceremony involving twin sisters and twin brothers in China has captured the attention of millions on social media. The event, held on February 5 in Hunan province, was viewed by over four million people on Douyin, with the couples' striking resemblance and matching outfits drawing widespread admiration.

The video was shared by Liu, the matchmaker and cousin-in-law of the 22-year-old twin brothers and godmother of the 18-year-old sisters. Liu revealed that she introduced the siblings last year, leading to the elder sister dating the elder brother and the younger sister forming a relationship with the younger brother.

The couples' connection deepened during visits between their hometown in Hunan and Zhejiang province, where the brothers worked. The brothers' care and attention led the sisters to decide to spend their lives with them.

Liu described the match as "destiny" and noted the rarity of such a pairing. Both families were pleased with the match, though the sisters' parents expressed sadness at their daughters marrying simultaneously.

The couples plan to hold a wedding at the end of this year or early next year, as the sisters have not yet reached the legal marriage age of 20 in China. Liu emphasized the genuine happiness shared by all four, highlighting a modern shift away from traditional gender roles in marriage.
