The first installment features Ian Badenhorst, a South African comedian and recipient of the That's Shanghai People's Choice Comedian of the Year Award.
He is a veteran figure in China's international comedy scene and a mentor to many young comedians.
With over a decade of stand-up experience, Ian has been producing comedy shows since arriving in China nearly 20 years ago.
He was the first full-time professional English stand-up comedian in the country and has toured major theaters nationwide with the Spicy Comedy All Stars.

Conceived as an open reading club that encourages questions from the audience, the event will explore different aspects of Un amor, the author’s first book to be translated into Chinese.
