Did you know that finding a bird nest
outside your home is a sign of good fortune in China?
At our Beijing campus, it all started
with one 斑鸠 (bānjiū) - turtledove - and her nest.
Then came two eggs.
Then - two little birds 💛
In China, this is a symbol of good fortune.
Animals are believed to be
sensitive to their surroundings.
So if a bird chooses to build a nest near your home, it represents all the good things - safety, trust, positive energy.
In other words, it's seen as a place
of harmony and good vibes 💛
