Previously, Shanghai Disneyland's ticketing policy did not allow for cancellations, refunds, or transfers. Guests could reschedule their visit up to two times, provided tickets for the new date were available, and changes were made at least 48 hours before the original entry date.

Under the new policy, guests who purchase standard "1-Day/2-Day Tickets" or the "Disney Dream Day Package" via official Shanghai Disney Resort channels—including the website, app, WeChat, Douyin, JD, Fliggy, and reservation hotline—will now be eligible for refunds within specific timeframes:

  • Full Refund: Requests submitted by 11:59 PM seven days before the visit date.

  • Partial Refund: From six days to one day prior, a service fee of RMB 80 per ticket applies.

  • No Refund: Requests made on or after the day of the visit will not be honored.

For "2-Day Tickets," the refund policy applies based on the first selected visit date.

However, the updated refund policy only applies to standard-priced tickets not purchased under promotions or discounts. Additionally, eligibility requires that the ticket was not changed after purchase and no official discount coupons were used.

Despite this major change, guests may still reschedule their tickets up to two times, provided the change is made 48 hours before the original visit and availability exists for the new date.
