This extension allows ordinary passport holders from 45 countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Brazil, and Australia, to enter China without a visa for up to 30 days for purposes such as business, tourism, visiting family and friends, or transit.
In addition to this extension, Sweden will be newly included in the visa-free policy starting from November 10, 2025, valid through December 31, 2026.
Travelers must meet the conditions of the exemption: ordinary passport holders visiting for no more than 30 days under permitted categories. Those not meeting these criteria must still apply for a visa before traveling.
