On August 24, a violent altercation erupted between three foreign women inside the concourse of Hong Kong's MTR Fo Tan Station.

Footage captured by a passerby shows the trio grappling, pulling hair, throwing punches, and splashing liquid at each other. During the chaos, a bystander attempted to intervene in English, warning: "If they call police, you stay inside the jail." Police later confirmed that one of the women was arrested.

The video clip shows a short-haired woman in a heated brawl with two others, exchanging shouts and blows. Personal belongings, including mobile phones and handbags, were scattered across the floor. At one point, a woman wearing a vest fought so fiercely that her shoes came off. Another woman in red trousers, after being helped up by a companion, picked up a plastic bottle filled with liquid from the ground and angrily rejoined the fight, splashing the contents onto the woman in the vest. Those nearby, splashed by the liquid, quickly moved aside to check their clothing.

MTR staff were seen attempting to mediate but were unsuccessful. The video ends as another bystander pleaded in English: "Stop, stop, stop, enough! If they call police, you stay inside the jail."

According to police, a report was received at 9:02 a.m. on August 24 regarding multiple foreign women fighting inside the Fo Tan Station concourse. Officers arrived to find that most of those involved had already fled, leaving behind a 31-year-old foreign woman with abrasions to her fingers, back, and shoulder. She was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment and was later arrested. Police said they are searching for two other women, both believed to be around 30 years old. Initial investigations suggest the dispute was related to a personal relationship conflict.

The MTR Corporation confirmed that around 9 a.m. the same day, three women were engaged in a dispute near Exit C of the Fo Tan Station concourse. Station staff immediately attended the scene and attempted to intervene before handing the matter over to police upon their arrival.
