The Uzbekistan Digital Technology Center Officially Launched in Shanghai
Uzbekistan has officially opened the Uzbekistan Digital Technology Center in Shanghai — a strategic step to strengthen tech cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
The Center is established in collaboration with Shanghai Oriental Credits Industrial Development Co., Ltd. and is designed to become a gateway for Chinese IT companies and investors exploring opportunities in Central Asia.
Its core mission includes:
Attracting Chinese IT companies and international grant funding to Uzbekistan
Facilitating the export of Uzbek digital services and IT products
Promoting collaboration in system-wide digital transformation and ICT development
Additionally, the Center will actively engage Uzbek students currently studying in Shanghai, providing them with a platform to contribute to national ICT initiatives through research, content development, and international communications.
