Cross-Dressed Man Caught Filming Private Videos; Foreigner Seen in a Clip

A 38-year-old man disguised himself as a woman to secretly film videos of other people and spread them on the internet has been apprehended, the police in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province announced on Tuesday.

According to a statement from the police in Jiangning district, Nanjing, the Jiangning police recently received a report from the local residents claiming that their private videos had been shared online by someone else. The police promptly launched an investigation and the suspect surnamed Jiao was apprehended on Friday.

The investigation shows that Jiao is a 38-year-old man from another province. He disguised himself as a woman, arranged to engage in sexual activities with multiple men, and secretly recorded the encounters and distribute the videos online.

What has been circulating online that said a 60-year-old man in Nanjing cross-dressed and had intimate relations with over a thousand people is false information, the police said.

Earlier reports claimed that the man had allegedly invited over 1,600 men. Dozens of videos involving him and these individuals have surfaced online, with around 30 clips currently exposed. Some of the videos are over ten minutes long, others span more than twenty minutes, while a few are shorter. Notably, a foreigner appears in at least one of the recordings.

On Sunday, Jiao was placed under criminal detention by the Jiangning police on suspicion of distributing obscene materials. The case is currently under further investigation.
