Two young Chinese men have received administrative penalties for deliberately making loud noises in Hulk costumes and patient gowns on a subway train in Shijiazhuang, North China's Hebei Province, scaring fellow passengers.
According to a statement released by the official WeChat account of Shijiazhuang Metro on Monday, seeking to gain internet traffic, the 26-year-old man surnamed Shi and the 18-year-old man surnamed Zhao were wearing patient gowns and Hulk jumpsuit while riding Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1 at around 2:40 pm on Saturday. They filmed each other while loudly shouting, jumping, and moving around inside the train car.
The statement said their behavior caused panic and avoidance among the passengers, disrupting the public transportation order and creating a negative social impact. Public security authorities issued administrative penalties to Shi and Zhao in accordance with the law.
Shijiazhuang Metro reminds passengers to consciously abide by subway regulations and report any emergencies to the police or station staff immediately.
According to earlier media reports, there were netizens reporting two men dressed in bizarre costumes boarded a carriage on the Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1. They continued to film prank videos and shouted for about an hour. Witnesses claimed no subway staff intervened during the period, and some frightened passengers chose to get off the train.
