On April 15, Weihai City in Shandong Province launched the "Foreign Doctors Employment in China" integrated service at the Crown Community Health Service Center.
The first beneficiary of this service was a Korean doctor who successfully obtained both the "Foreigners Employment Permit in China" and the "Short-Term Medical Practice Permit for Foreign Doctors" through the new service.
By deeply integrating the application and approval processes, Weihai has transformed previously fragmented steps into a streamlined service model that features "one set of materials, one application form, one acceptance, and one issuance of certificates." The number of required application materials has been significantly reduced from 16 to 10, cutting down the paperwork by 37.5%. This simplification effectively reduces the administrative burden on both businesses and doctors, achieving a truly "one-stop" service that makes the process more straightforward and efficient.
