On February 10, the Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office released a public announcement regarding the provision of special visa facilitation for foreign business professionals coming to Ningxia.

Target Audience

The foreign business professionals referred to in this announcement are mainly those who frequently travel to Ningxia for business and trade activities and play an active role in fostering Ningxia's foreign economic and trade cooperation. The announcement also includes provisions for their spouses and children. Invitations can be issued by all types of market entities, including state-owned enterprises, private businesses, and foreign-invested companies.

Policy Measures

Eligible foreign business professionals who meet the criteria can apply for a five-year multiple entry visa with a 180-day single stay period through the Chinese embassies or consulates abroad, by presenting the "Special Visa Invitation Letter."

Application Process

1. Market entities will first identify their visa needs based on the special visa facilitation policy and submit their application to local foreign affairs departments.

   
   

2. The Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office will review and compile the applications, and issue the "Special Visa Invitation Letter" for those qualified.

   
   

3. Foreign business professionals, along with their spouses and children, can apply for the visa within three months by presenting the "Special Visa Invitation Letter" at the Chinese embassy or consulate in their area of residence.

Important Notes

1. Each market entity (inviting party) may only apply for a visa on behalf of foreign business professionals coming to Ningxia for business purposes. Applications for non-business purposes are not permitted.

   
   

2. There are no fees for obtaining the "Special Visa Invitation Letter."
