City Announces Foreign Talent Training Program Measures

  Zhengzhou, Henan Province, has introduced the Implementation Measures for the Zhengzhou Foreign Talent Training Program, aiming to attract and develop international talent while fostering cross-cultural exchange.

Objectives

  The program seeks to enhance the professional skills and overall competencies of foreign talent through systematic learning and practical experience. By supporting their personal and professional growth in China, the initiative encourages greater social contributions. Additionally, it promotes cultural exchange, deepens foreigners' understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture, and fosters a more open and inclusive international environment to attract high-level foreign professionals for innovation and entrepreneurship in Zhengzhou.

Program Structure

  The training program consists of four key components:

1. Specialized Training – The program offers a series of targeted courses covering Chinese language, legal regulations, entrepreneurship, and business management. Renowned experts from China and abroad will be invited to deliver lectures, equipping foreign talent with essential knowledge, cutting-edge insights, and practical skills.
2. On-Site Visits – Participants will have the opportunity to visit leading research institutions, high-tech enterprises, incubators, and innovation hubs in Zhengzhou. These visits aim to provide a deeper understanding of the city's economic and social development while encouraging foreign talent to contribute ideas for Zhengzhou's goal of becoming a national central city..
3. Project Research – The initiative encourages foreign talent to participate in or lead research projects, fostering close collaboration with Chinese teams to tackle technical challenges. The program also seeks to promote the global application of research outcomes.
4. Cultural Exchange – A variety of cultural activities will be organized to help foreign talent gain a deeper understanding of China and integrate more quickly into Chinese society. The program aims to build bridges between cultures, empowering participants to serve as cultural ambassadors and share China's story with the world.

Eligibility Criteria

  The program primarily targets three categories of individuals:

1. High-level foreign professionals, including experts, scholars, and technical personnel, who are currently working, studying, or conducting research in Zhengzhou.
2. Foreign individuals with a strong interest in Chinese culture, economy, and technology and a willingness to deepen their understanding.
3. Young foreign talent with a relevant professional background who seek further career development opportunities in China.
