+1 Province to Issue 5-Year, Multiple-Entry Visas for 180 Days

  On February 14, 2025, Hebei Province released a notice providing special facilitation measures for foreign business professionals coming to the province.

Target Audience

  The notice defines foreign business professionals as individuals who frequently travel to Hebei to engage in business activities and their spouses and children. The inviting entities include various market participants such as state-owned enterprises, private companies, and foreign-invested businesses.

Policy Measures

  The Provincial Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) can issue visa invitation letters with longer validity, more entry opportunities, and extended stay periods for eligible foreign business professionals. With this invitation letter, foreign business professionals can apply for a 5-year multiple-entry M visa, or equivalent categories, with a stay period of 180 days at Chinese embassies or consulates abroad.

Application Process

1. For foreign business professionals invited by cities (including Dingzhou and Xinji), the inviting entities must submit the application to the city's Foreign Affairs Office for review and then submit it for approval to the Provincial FAO through the "China Visa Invitation Letter Management System."
2. For foreign business professionals invited by provincial-level departments or the Xiong'an New Area, the inviting entities must submit the application for approval to the Provincial FAO through the same system.
3. After the Provincial FAO approves the application, it will issue a visa invitation letter for a 5-year multiple-entry visa with a 180-day stay period.

Important Notes

  Inviting entities may only apply to invite foreign business professionals for their own units and may not expand the scope of invitations or invite individuals for non-business purposes.
