CN Int'l Student Stabs Countrymate in a Bus

Japanese media alleged on June 14th that a Chinese national had stabbed an individual on a tourist bus in Tokyo. Subsequently, the media revealed that both the victim and the suspect were Chinese nationals.

The two compatriots engaged in a dispute for an unknown cause on a bus in Tokyo's Minato Ward, near Takanawa Gateway Station, at 5:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

Subsequently, authorities identified the two individuals as 37-year-old Jiang and an unnamed 20-year-old victim. Both were international students living in the country.

Jiang abruptly retrieved a 15-centimetre knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim during the argument. The victim sustained numerous severe injuries and collapsed to the ground.

According to reports, someone stabbed him in the forehead, neck, and abdomen.
After other passengers subdued the suspect, they apprehended him on suspicion of attempted homicide.

The ambulance promptly arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. He is stable and does not have any life-threatening conditions.

According to a Nepalese eyewitness, he was on the transport when he abruptly heard two Chinese individuals shouting in front of him.

"Suddenly, one of them drew a knife and began to slash the other, causing blood to splatter throughout the area." In a single instant, the scene transitioned from a serene state to a terrifying one, characterised by pandemonium and screams. He stated.

Jiang is a graduate student, and the two were acquainted, according to the preliminary investigation.

Jiang informed the authorities that the two work at the same location. He also stated that the victim consistently exhibits an extremely negative attitude towards him and is disrespectful, despite the fact that they are countrymates and he is older than the victim.

"I became very angry and couldn't bear it anymore, so I had to stab him to vent my anger." Jiang stated.

The incident is still under investigation by the police.
