10-15 years work experience with foreign companies in the sourcing function

5+ years experience in a retail environment, including background in store merchandising, sourcing, supply chain and customer service.
Global understanding of merchandising best practices/global buying power
Excellent negotiation skills with customers, vendors and ..others?
Must understand different countries and their cultural challenges along with proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments
Must be able to uphold high ethical standards for vendor/factory relationships.
Finance experience in budgeting and managing P/Ls
Results oriented ability to drive results and proactively shift efforts as trends and business variables change
Strong organizational and planning skills necessary
Skilled in business math, contracting, report building, supply base research, creating presentations and spreadsheets, utilizing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
Bachelors Degree in Business, International Business or related field strongly preferred
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 35%
