Kevin Zhu Violin Recital @ Shanghai Concert Hall
A double winner of both the Paganini International Violin Competition and the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition, and a protégé of Itzhak Perlman, violinist Kevin Zhu presents a thoughtfully curated program moving beyond virtuosic showpieces to explore three distinct facets of Romanticism.
The evening features Brahms's Hungarian Dances (arranged by Joachim), Grieg's passionate Third Violin Sonata, and Richard Strauss's Rosenkavalier Waltz Sequence alongside his E-flat Major Sonata—a journey from Germanic warmth through Nordic clarity to late-Romantic grandeur.

Daniel Lozakovich Solo Violin Recital @ Shanghai Concert Hall
Swedish violin prodigy Daniel Lozakovich makes his Chinese unaccompanied solo debut, with a program that features three of Bach's most iconic works for solo violin: the G minor Sonata, the E major Partita, and the D minor Partita—cornerstones of the violin repertoire that demand both technical mastery and profound emotional expression.
Born in Stockholm in 2001, Lozakovich began playing at age seven and made his solo debut just two years later.
Signed to Deutsche Grammophon at 15, he has since earned critical acclaim for his recordings, including a Gramophone Top Choice selection.
Now an exclusive Warner Classics artist, he performs on the 1713 "ex-Sancy" Stradivari, generously loaned by LVMH.

Hero% is a captivating contemporary dance solo by acclaimed Belgian-French choreographer Karine Ponties, premiered in 2015 and performed by Eric Domeneghetty.
This piece presents a fascinating duality: a seemingly ordinary man in a neat suit who transforms into a classic comic-book superhero clad in a red leotard.
Through this striking contrast, the work explores the heroism hidden within everyday life—a figure caught between mortality and superhuman aspiration, marching relentlessly forward on a path that transcends the mundane.
With additional music by Elmer Bernstein and a rich creative team behind its dramatic and lighting design, the piece has toured extensively across Belgium, France, the Czech Republic, and Luxembourg.
As part of the 2026 Dance Out of the Box Festival, Hero% invites audiences to reflect on what it truly means to be a hero—never giving up, staying true to oneself, and embracing the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Du Bout Des Doigts @ SIDC
Du Bout Des Doigts is a mesmerizing fingertip dance work by Belgian artists Gabriella Iacono and Grégory Grosjean.
The performance tells the story of a man and woman dancing together through time—entirely from their fingertips.
Over a dozen palm-sized miniature scenes are captured by a live camera and projected onto a large screen, revealing an epic chronological journey across legendary stages from Broadway to Paris, Brussels to Harlem.
Audiences will recognize iconic 20th-century dance forms—hip-hop, ballet, rock-and-roll, and musical theatre—while sensing the artistic influences of Pina Bausch and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
Through delicate movements, props, and shifting perspectives, the dancers' fingertips express love, struggle, joyous gatherings, and farewells.
Since its premiere in 2020, the work has toured extensively across Europe and was a celebrated highlight of the 2024 Wuzhen Theatre Festival.
A truly innovative fusion of dance, theater, and visual art, Du Bout Des Doigts proves that beauty and emotion can flow—literally—from the tips of the fingers.
