Shanghai American School’s TheEleven Gives Juniors a Head Start on College Preparation

Last month, juniors from Shanghai American School headed to Qiandaohu for TheEleven, SAS’ signature Grade 11 experience that blends focused college preparation with reflection, connection, and fun.
Throughout the weeklong program, students participated in admissions workshops, essay-writing sessions, university application seminars, and activities led by the SAS college counseling team and visiting university admissions representatives.
Students explored topics including interviews, résumés, majors, essays, college finances, and building balanced college lists.
Beyond college prep, they connected through rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and more.
TheEleven helped students feel more prepared and confident going into senior year.

The German School Shanghai (DSS) supports students early on in their journey towards university and professional life. Starting in Grade 7, the Career and University Guidance Team provides a holistic program.
At the end of each school year, students from classes 9RS and 10GYM complete career-oriented two-week internships with companies in Shanghai, Germany, and around the world, which is an integral part of the curriculum.
Another special highlight is an annual Career Day: students gain first-hand insights, as experts from a wide range of fields share their experiences, talk about their personal career paths, and engage in direct conversations.

SSIS Class of 2026 Celebrates Record IB Results as 30th Anniversary Milestone
Shanghai Singapore International School's Class of 2026 has marked the school's 30th anniversary with a set of historic IBDP results.
An extraordinary 43.8% of graduates scored 40 points or above—the highest proportion ever recorded at SSIS—while the cohort averaged 37.3 points, far exceeding the global average of 30.9. Three in four students achieved 35 points or more.
These outstanding outcomes reflect years of dedication and the strength of SSIS' learning ecosystem, where academic rigor and personal growth go hand in hand.
The Class of 2026 has now received offers from leading universities across Asia, Europe, North America, and beyond—a fitting tribute to three decades of excellence and a confident step into the next chapter of their journeys.
SUIS Shangyin & Fortune Kindergarten New Campus Completed
The completion and handover ceremony for the SUIS Shangyin-Pujin Campus and Fortune Kindergarten OCT-Pujin Campus has taken place.
Located at 980 Changlin Lu, Minhang District, leaders from Shanghai United Media Group, Minhang District Government, and Xiehe Education Group attended the milestone event.
Xiehe Education Chief Principal Lu Huiwen reaffirmed the group's core value of "integrating East and West, developing in harmony."
The new campus will offer a continuous boarding pathway from kindergarten through secondary school, featuring a three-tier progression system and highlights in STREAM, sport, and media literacy.
Located near Shanghai Theatre Academy, the 33,300 m² site includes 45,400 m² of facilities such as a science center, art center, gymnasium, swimming pool, and sports ground.
The Shangyin campus is set to open in the 2026 academic year, while the new SUIS Pudong-Beicai campus is under construction for a 2027 opening.
Both follow a "Vertical Campus" design concept, integrating nature with forward-looking learning spaces.
Concordia Annual Summer Camps
Concordia International School Shanghai concluded its annual summer camp this July, welcoming students from both within and beyond the school community for a week of language development, science, creative arts, drama, cooking, and sports.
The camp was led entirely by Concordia’s own certified faculty, offering campers a firsthand experience of the school’s culture and values alongside structured academic and creative programming.
The camp drew participants from Shanghai, the United States, and beyond. Concordia is already planning next year’s program.

Congratulations to the Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong Class of 2026 for their outstanding achievements in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
The graduates achieved excellent results, reflecting the dedication, ambition, and academic excellence demonstrated throughout their time at the college.
Achieving an outstanding average score of 37.91 points, exceeding the global average by 7.03 points, alongside a 100% IB Diploma pass rate, the graduates have delivered exceptional results in this year's IBDP.
An impressive 39.4% of students scored 40 points or above, with the highest individual score reaching 44 points. In addition, 16 graduates were awarded the IB Bilingual Diploma and 14 graduates achieved full marks in Mandarin.

Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi's Class of 2026 also achieved an outstanding set of results in this year's International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
With an average score of 37.2 points out of 45 and a 100% IB Diploma pass rate, they exceeded the global average by 6.3 points.
This year's cohort also saw one third of students achieve 40 points or above, while two thirds attained 36 points or higher.
The highest individual score was 44 points, and 33.3% of graduates achieved full marks in at least one individual subject.
Class of 2026: From Academic Excellence to Global Opportunities
Shanghai French School is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements and future destinations of its Class of 2026.
With a 100% pass rate in the French Baccalaureate and 50% of students earning the highest distinction, all 66 graduates are now preparing to begin an exciting new chapter at more than 40 leading higher education institutions worldwide.
Half of the cohort will continue their studies in France, while the other 50% will study abroad across 10 countries.
Their pathways reflect both academic excellence and individual ambition: 17 students will pursue business and management; 15 engineering and scientific disciplines; 12 will enter Classes Préparatoires; nine arts, design, architecture, and fashion; six human and social sciences; three hospitality and tourism; two healthcare and medicine; and two other fields.
Graduates will join renowned institutions including UCL, King’s College London, EPFL, McGill University, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, ESCP Business School, Tsinghua University, and the University of Sydney, as well as the highly selective Classes Préparatoires at Lycée Henri-IV and Lycée Janson-de-Sailly.

BISS Celebrates Impressive IB Outcomes for the Class of 2026
The BISS cohort’s highest score was 44 points, and students achieved 38 subject grades of 7 (the maximum available for each subject).
Among the students awarded the IB Diploma, the average score was 35. More than half of students achieved 35 points or above and 27% reached the highly demanding 40-point threshold, while 50% of all students were awarded the bilingual Diploma.
This academic strength is reflected in exceptional individual achievements.
Strong academic performance has translated into an impressive portfolio of university outcomes that span the globe.
Current post-results destinations include Cambridge, Imperial College London, UBC, Tufts, NYU, Northeastern, and other leading universities across the UK, North America, Hong Kong and Australia.
Congratulations to Melis who scored 44 points and met every condition of her University of Cambridge offer to study Law.
Sia and Arya both achieved impressive scores of 43, whilst Hugh and Reia attained 41 points. Penelope, Hyunsoo, Yeongkeon, Lavanda, and Achille all achieved 40 points.
Achille will be reading Economics, Finance and Data Science at Imperial College London, while Hugh is set to study Biology at the University of British Columbia.
Penelope, Hyunsoo, and Reia will join the ranks of the University of Hong Kong to specialize in Biomedical Engineering, Computing and Data Science (Delta+), and Philosophy respectively.
Lavanda will be studying Architecture at the University of Southern California. Sia, Arya, and Yeongkeon are still awaiting decisions from Korean universities.

2026 IB Superb Results
