A total of 22.91 million foreigners entered China in the first half of the year, up 20.4% year-on-year. Of those, 17.81 million entered visa-free — accounting for nearly 78% of all foreign arrivals, and up 30.6% compared to last year. The visa-free push is clearly working — fewer barriers, more visitors.
