Wukang Building (武康大楼)
This "ship-shaped" building at a leafy intersection hasn't moved in a century. Designed by Hungarian architect László Hudec, its red-brick facade and curved balconies make it look like a grand ocean liner docked on a tree-lined street.
From here, the entire Former French Concession unfolds – cafes, vintage shops, and alleys with stories.

Columbia Circle (上生新所)
A century-old country club, now open to everyone. Its star feature: a turquoise blue swimming pool surrounded by white arches – it looks like a North African resort.
