In February, Beijing completed a comprehensive upgrade of its Online Accommodation Registration System. The following provides a guide to online accommodation registration for foreign nationals in several cities, including Beijing.

Beijing

The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has recently completed a comprehensive upgrade of the Online Accommodation Registration System, which has now been officially launched.

Users may access the upgraded system through the following methods:

1. Scan the QR code using a mobile phone.

2. Access the official WeChat account "Beijing Public Security Exit-Entry(北京公安出入境)", then click the "Information Guide(资讯指南)" section at the bottom of the page and select "Online Accommodation Registration(网上住宿登记办理)".

3. Visit the following website using a computer browser:

Shanghai

1. Scanning the following QR code with your mobile phone,or

Guangzhou

Step1. Follow the WeChat official account: Guangzhou Bureau of Public Security (广州公安).

Step2. Enter the registration system.

Shenzhen

Step1. Follow the WeChat official account: Shenzhen Bureau of Public Security (深圳公安). 

Step2. Enter the registration system.

Xi'an

Step1. Follow the WeChat official account: Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau Exit-Entry Administration (西安出入境), or search for the "Xi'an Entry(西安出入境)" mini program on WeChat.

Step2. Enter the registration system.

Hangzhou

Step1. Download the app "浙里办" (PINYIN: ZHELIBAN), provided by the General Office of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.

Step2. Search for "警察叔叔"(PINYIN: JINGCHASHUSHU).

Step3.  Enter the registration system.

Nanjing

Step1. Follow the WeChat official account: Nanjing Bureau of Public Security (南京公安). 

Step2.  Enter the registration system.

Suzhou
