Shanghai Pudong – Delhi (Increased to Daily from January 2, 2026)

China Eastern Airlines will increase its Shanghai Pudong – Delhi route from three flights per week to one flight daily starting January 2, 2026. The route, which resumed on November 9, 2025, operates with Airbus A330-25 aircraft.

Shanghai Pudong – Tawau (Semporna) (Starting January 15, 2026)

Juneyao Airlines will launch a new route between Shanghai Pudong and Tawau (Semporna, Malaysia) starting January 15, 2026, operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Airbus A320neo aircraft.

HO1361: Departs Shanghai Pudong at 14:50, arrives in Tawau at 20:00 (Approx. 5h 10m)
HO1362: Departs Tawau at 21:00, arrives in Shanghai Pudong at 02:00 (+1) (Approx. 5h)

AirAsia Malaysia will also operate this route starting December 22, 2025.

Shanghai Pudong – Penang (Starting January 30, 2026)

Spring Airlines will launch a daily direct flight between Shanghai Pudong and Penang beginning January 30, 2026, using Airbus A320 aircraft. Shanghai Airlines and Juneyao Airlines also operate this route daily, forming a complementary schedule.

Air China will increase its Shanghai Pudong – Singapore route from one to two daily flights between February 1 and 28, 2026, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

CA577 (New): Departs Shanghai at 23:45, arrives in Singapore at 05:30 (+1)

Shanghai Pudong – Phu Quoc Island (Seasonal from February 2 to March 13, 2026)

China Eastern Airlines will launch a short-term daily route between Shanghai Pudong and Phu Quoc Island from February 2 to March 13, 2026, using Airbus A320neo aircraft.

MU7237: Departs Shanghai at 21:30, arrives in Phu Quoc at 01:50 (+1)

Shanghai Pudong – Cebu, Chiang Mai, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh (Increased Frequencies in February 2026)

Between February 2 and March 13, 2026, China Eastern Airlines will boost several Southeast Asian routes:

Cebu: Increased from 3 weekly to daily

Chiang Mai: Increased from 1 to 2 daily, adding a night flight

Ho Chi Minh City: Increased from 1 to 2 daily, adding an early morning flight

Phnom Penh: Increased from 1 to 2 daily, with similar flight times to existing service

Shanghai Pudong – Ulaanbaatar (Starting March 3, 2026)

Spring Airlines will open a new route between Shanghai Pudong and Ulaanbaatar starting March 3, 2026, operating twice weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) until the end of the flight season on March 27, 2026, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Juneyao Airlines will increase its Shanghai Pudong – Athens flights from 4 to 5 weekly starting April 1, 2026. The additional service will operate on Wednesdays, continuing through the end of the Summer-Autumn season (October 24, 2026), using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
