A shocking murder case has surfaced in Lok Wah South Estate, Ngau Tau Kok, Hong Kong, where a 35-year-old local woman was found dead in a bed frame at her boyfriend's residence.

According to a January 17 police press conference, the victim's head and body were wrapped in towels and clothing. She was pronounced dead at the scene, having suffered over ten fatal head injuries from blunt force trauma. Her skull showed signs of depression fractures, and there was significant blood loss. Bruising was also observed on both her hands and feet.
Disturbingly, officers also discovered the carcasses of three dogs and one cat in the unit. The cause of their deaths is still under investigation.
The victim's boyfriend, a 28-year-old unemployed man of African descent from Chad, has been identified as the prime suspect. He holds a Hong Kong ID card and had been in a relationship with the victim for over six months.
Investigations revealed that the suspect fled Hong Kong via a land border crossing to mainland on the night of December 29. Hong Kong authorities subsequently sought assistance from mainland law enforcement agencies.
Recently, authorities confirmed that the suspect was apprehended on the mainland. On January 16, Hong Kong police took custody of the suspect at the Shenzhen Bay Port and formally arrested him on suspicion of murder.
He is currently in custody and is expected to be charged with murder. He will appear at the Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 19.
The Hong Kong Police Force expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Public Security and other mainland law enforcement agencies for their cooperation. They stated that the successful arrest of the suspect on the mainland reflected the shared determination of both sides to combat crime and uphold the rule of law.
