To enhance convenience and efficiency for foreign professionals working in Shanghai, the city has officially introduced the "FAST PASS" — a streamlined process to facilitate the foreign exchange and remittance of remuneration.

What is "FAST PASS"?
In simple terms, "FAST PASS" simplifies the bank's review process, enabling foreign workers to access fast, efficient financial services when converting and transferring their salaries.
How to Obtain the "FAST PASS"?
There are two ways to apply:
Application by Employer
An employer can apply for the FAST PASS on behalf of their foreign employees (who hold valid work permits) via the Shanghai Foreigner's Work in China Services System.Application by Individual
Eligible foreign nationals may also apply individually, provided they have authorization from their employer.
