China to Introduce K Visa for Young Science and Technology Professionals
Beijing, October 2025 – China will launch a new K visa category beginning October 1, 2025, designed specifically for young professionals in the fields of science and technology.
The change was approved by the State Council through an amendment to the regulations on the administration of entry and exit of foreigners.
Purpose of the K Visa
The K visa is intended to support international exchange and cooperation in education, culture, science, and technology. It also aims to facilitate entrepreneurial and business activities by making entry procedures more flexible for eligible applicants.
