Shanghai Pudong – Tashkent (Starting September 28)

China Eastern Airlines will launch a new route from Shanghai Pudong to Tashkent starting September 28, 2025. The flight will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays using Airbus A330-25 aircraft.

Tokyo Narita – Shanghai Pudong (Resuming October 26)

Japan Airlines will resume its Tokyo Narita – Shanghai Pudong route from October 26, 2025. The service will operate daily using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

JL873: Departs Tokyo Narita at 09:35, arrives in Shanghai Pudong at 12:20 (Approx. 3h 45m)
JL876: Departs Shanghai Pudong at 14:00, arrives in Tokyo Narita at 18:00 (Approx. 3h)

Shanghai Pudong – Auckland – Buenos Aires (Starting December 4)

China Eastern Airlines will open a new route from Shanghai Pudong to Buenos Aires via Auckland beginning December 4, 2025. The service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays outbound, and on Tuesdays and Fridays for the return leg, using Boeing 777-300 aircraft.

China Eastern Airlines will suspend two Japan routes from Shanghai Pudong beginning in the new flight season (late October 2025):

Shanghai Pudong – Matsuyama: Service suspended from October 26, 2025. This route currently operates twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

Shanghai Pudong – Kumamoto: Service suspended from October 28, 2025. The route was launched in July 2025 and operated three times weekly.
