With time running out, Jon faces the ultimate question—should he give in to reality or risk everything for his dream?

Larson poured all his anxieties, passion, and creative struggles leading up to age 30 into this one piece.

Twelve artists blur gender and tradition, weaving desire and defiance into a visceral tapestry. Dark costumes slash against a pink-black set, embodying love's duality—fragile yet fierce.

Liñán's choreography, drawn from his own romantic history, interrogates intimacy: How does love live? How does it die?

Devils & Angels: Ning Feng × Xuefei Yang Violin & Guitar Duo Recital @ Shanghai Concert Hall

A rare collaboration between two of China's most celebrated virtuosos: violinist Ning Feng (2006 Paganini Competition winner) and classical guitarist Xuefei Yang (Gramophone-listed "top guitarist").

United by their shared roots and decades of friendship since studying at London's Royal Academy of Music, the duo presents a program blending Western masterpieces with Eastern tributes.

At its heart lies Paganini's fiery Sonata Concertata—a showcase of technical brilliance by the "devil's violinist"—paired with Schubert's lyrical Arpeggione Sonata, inspired by the composer's awe of "angelic" music.

The concert also features solo interludes, including Yang's rendition of Paganini's Caprice No. 24 and Feng's take on Tárrega's Recuerdos de la Alhambra, alongside Chinese classics like Fisherman's Song at Eventide.

The Void Migrates to the Surface @ Fotografiska Shanghai

Andrea Galvani presents The Void Migrates to the Surface—the Italian-born, international artist's first solo exhibition in Asia.

In his latest cinematic masterpiece, the artist uses super-slow motion technology to extend the brief lives of 20 rare and endangered butterfly species from just a few weeks to 73 years, aligning the lifespan of butterflies with the global average human life expectancy.

As the butterflies move, visitors observe the subtle passage of time through their natural aging process—the fraying of wings, the fall of iridescent scales, and the shimmering traces they leave behind.

Accompanying the visuals is a soundtrack specifically developed for the exhibition by celebrated composer and musician Federico Albanese.

Luminous yet melancholic, intricate yet hopeful, the music interprets the images' majestic power—melodically synchronizing the visual ascent and descent, stillness and motion that unravel across a different order of time.

The Void Migrates to the Surface crystallizes a gradual, graceful choreography of flight—of fragility and resilience, delicacy and monumentality.
