"This's Weed": Foreign Traveler Caught Smuggling Marijuana at Customs
Qingdao, China – A foreign traveler attempting to leave the country via the "nothing to declare" channel at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport was intercepted by customs officers after exhibiting nervous behavior and suspicious movements.

Upon inspection, officers discovered a red plastic-wrapped, green leafy substance in the passenger's right pants pocket, emitting a pungent, unmistakable odor. The traveler admitted the substance was marijuana. On-site reagent testing confirmed a positive result for cannabis.
Further forensic analysis determined the substance to be marijuana with a net weight of 6.68 grams. The case has been transferred to the anti-smuggling department of customs for further investigation.
According to China's Criminal Law and the Anti-Drug Law, narcotics include opium, heroin, methamphetamine, morphine, marijuana, cocaine, and other controlled substances that can lead to addiction. Smuggling any quantity of drugs is a serious criminal offense and will result in legal prosecution and penalties.
