MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is widely known as the "world's No. 1 influencer." He boasts an enormous fanbase of approximately 415 million subscribers on YouTube and a combined total of around 800 million followers across all platforms—surpassing even American streamer IShowSpeed, who made waves in China earlier this year.
MrBeast is currently the highest-earning video creator globally and topped Forbes' 2023 list of top creators. His content is characterized by its "cash giveaway + challenge" format, blending high-stakes, time-intensive mega challenges with spectacular visual storytelling and massive financial rewards for participants.
In addition to entertainment, MrBeast is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts. Some of his most impactful videos include helping deaf individuals hear for the first time and restoring sight to cataract patients.
According to media sources, MrBeast is also planning to visit China in the fourth quarter of this year to film a large-scale challenge show, signaling a deeper engagement with the Chinese digital landscape.
