SCIS Summer Camp offers specialized, developmentally appropriate activities designed with the whole child in mind.
The non-academic, inquiry-based program ensures that children work together, play, and have fun with their friends!
Campers will engage in a variety of enriching activities, including physical exercise, art, music, field trips, drama, and cultural exploration.
Guided by the dedicated SCIS faculty, the camp emphasizes social skill development and collaborative learning.
Students will be grouped according to their age or grade level to ensure age-appropriate experiences.

Date & Time: 8.30am-3pm, Monday-Friday, June 23-July 18
Location: SCIS Hongqiao ECE Campus (2212 Hongqiao Road)
Camp Tuition: RMB5,400 per child per week (lunch Included)
Transportation*: RMB800 per child per week
Eligibility: Open to all nationalities, for students currently enrolled in Preschool through Grade 5

Week-by-Week Themes
The Summer Camp features engaging themes based on the PYP transdisciplinary framework, ensuring a comprehensive student experience.
Week 1: How We Express Ourselves
Campers will explore the power of creativity through art, storytelling, and construction projects. They'll engage in activities that allow them to express their ideas and feelings, using open-ended materials to bring their dreams to life.
Week 2: Who We Are
This week focuses on self-identity and community. Young learners will engage in activities promoting healthy minds and bodies while exploring relationships with families and friends through art, science, and play.
Week 3: Sharing the Planet
Adventurers will investigate nature and our impact on the environment. This week is packed with immersive activities that encourage the exploration of plants, animals, and our interactions with the planet.
Week 4: How the World Works
This final week invites young inventors to stretch their imaginations. Using various materials, students will engage in hands-on projects that bring their innovative ideas to life through creative storytelling, science, art, and construction projects throughout the week.
