China is set to experience a significant temperature rise this week, with some southern regions reaching up to 30°C, which is unusual for this time of year, according to CCTV.
Both northern and southern China will warm up, with northern areas seeing temperatures above the seasonal average starting Monday, while southern areas will warm up later.
By Friday, temperatures could exceed 25°C in many southern regions, with some cities like Hangzhou and Wuhan reaching 30°C.
Northeast China will have highs around 10°C, while Huanghuai and Jiangnan regions will exceed 20°C, with some areas nearing 30°C.
The temperature rise in northern China will begin on Monday, while southern regions will experience warming after Wednesday, with temperatures climbing over 10°C in many areas, and over 15°C in parts of Northeast China and Jiangnan.
In cities like Changsha and Guiyang, temperatures will rise dramatically, switching quickly from winter to spring-like conditions.
However, daytime highs will rise more rapidly than nighttime lows, leading to temperature differences exceeding 15°C in northern regions and 10°C in Jiangnan. This warming will speed up the seasonal transition, but a cold front in early March could bring sharp temperature drops, especially in southern China.
