On December 10, the woman who was allegedly molested by a foreign student at Shanxi University shared her account of the incident with reporters.

The woman recalled, "(On December 7) At around 2 a.m., when my husband and I were leaving the bar, there was a thick curtain at the exit. As I pushed the curtain open, I suddenly felt a hand covering my entire buttocks, in the lower part of my body. I immediately turned around and saw a foreigner behind me. I confronted him, and he claimed that he had not molested me, insisting that he had two children and would never do such a thing. Then, he got into a physical altercation with my husband, and after the police reviewed the surveillance footage, they immediately took him away. During this process, he had conflicts with both us and the police."
The woman stated that the foreign student had been heavily intoxicated, and the surveillance footage clearly captured the incident. "When we arrived at the police station and reviewed the footage, we saw that his right hand was positioned with the palm facing the curtain, and his wrist was rotated 90 degrees as he pushed the curtain, which just happened to be at my buttocks. The next day, when I went to the police station to pick up the case filing notice, I learned that he had caused a scene at the station after we left due to his drunken behavior."
According to sources, the foreign student involved has been detained for five days due to the molestation charge, and the police have decided to impose a deadline for his departure from China.
The International Education Exchange College of Shanxi University stated that they would take strict action against the involved student based on the results of the police investigation.
