On August 21st, freestyle skier Eileen Gu took to social media to clap back at online negativity.
Gu shared a video of herself dancing, in which she listed her honors and contributions to Team China.
She stated that over the past 5 years, she has represented China in 41 world competitions, securing 39 medals. Gu Ailing has introduced three head coaches to the national team, donated freestyle snowboards to Team China, and used her voice to advocate for China and women on the global stage. She challenges her detractors, asking, "What has the cyber bully done for the country?"
Accompanying the post, she wrote, "Is the cyber bully feeling down? Why not... go for a run?"
