How Does Chi Fan for Charity Work?
Each year, Chi Fan for Charity selects one night to hold an event across numerous restaurants in the city, inviting top restaurants to participate and calling on the good folk of Shanghai (you!) to be table hosts.Before the event, table hosts invite nine friends to book tickets at their table, ranging from RMB500-1,000 per person, for a special multi-course menu and drinks, with the restaurants donating the cost, and the proceeds all going to charity.After the fabulous dinners, all guests and supporters get exclusive access to the afterparty. At this venue, everyone comes together to mingle, share experiences of their fabulous meals, dance and score raffle prizes.Be a Table Host
Chi Fan For Charity raise money by having exceptional restaurants donate a dinner table for 10 people, and the ticket sales go directly to charity. So how does this sound for charity work: you've got 10 guests at the dinner table, dressed to impress, enjoying a multi-course menu ajnd drinks at one of your favorite restaurants.You then join the other tables, who have been dining across the city, at a big afterparty for free-flow and music, where a fat check (which you helped score) is presented to charities for underprivileged children and communities.
