As you must have noticed, weve published a fair share of articles reporting on northeastern Chinas freezing cold weather and snowstorms that have hit the region recently.
But what struck us the most was the group of elder dancers spotted having their own fun in the snow while everyone else was hiding shivering in the comfort of their own homes.
Despite temperatures reaching well below zero degrees Celsius, a dozen Chinese Damas gathered to dance together, replicating the widespread dances many of us are accustomed to seeing in public city squares.
Its not so much about what they dance to, nor the location. Its the atmosphere and the chemistry that matter.
Their level of energy is unmatched.
And their facial expressions are priceless.
Here comes the dance battle!
Although its mostly common to see such dancing performances occur in public squares, damas and other participants have managed to find refuge in other environments when their usual spot isnt available.
Like underground parking lots.
Hows the weather been in your city?
Have you ever joined your local damas to dance and learn?
