Responsibilities of the Role: For Nursery Teacher: Offer high quality teaching in scheduled classes as outlined in the contract. Class hours may include but not limited to, scheduled lessons, outside teaching, education promotional events, etc.; Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues; Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times; Supporting the team in building relationship with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS; Undertake professional development, teaching observation and review; In addition to the responsibilities listed above Nursery Teacher is also expected to: 1. Role models and monitor the delivery of rich play learning opportunities that help all children develop and meet their individual needs; 2. Ensuring the provision of an inspiring and stimulating environment for children in both the indoor and outdoor area; 3. Lead, mentor an inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education and to promote and support professional development; 4. Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies; 5. Working as part of the larger team to ensure all essential day to day tasks are completed in line with the nursery demands, e.g. hygiene standards and room preparation;
Requirements
Native English Speaker; Undergraduate or above; A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); Working hours: 40 hrs/weekly, Monday to Friday; additional teaching on Saturdays would be required occasionally; Clean criminal record; Have previous childcare or nursery experience; Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
