Christmas is fast approaching and festive decorations and events are popping up all over the city. Just like every year, Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai is getting into the holiday spirit. Decorations aside, Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai is going all out with their holiday meals. Due to the popularity of last years Christmas buffet meal, the festive seasons main event at Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai this year is not one, but two Christmas Eve buffets for a meal to remember. 

 



1st Floor Buffet at Elements

The buffet at Elements restaurant on the 1st floor is a whirlwind tour of global cuisines. The Japanese station is full of freshly prepared sushi and sashimi. There is also an assortment of Cantonese dim sum and other Asian dishes, such as chili crab, which represent the Eastern side of the culinary world. A festive carving station features traditional roast turkey, suckling pig, beef Wellington and much more. Perennial favorites like the fresh seafood station, oyster station and dessert station are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Head on over to indulge in the Christmas Eve extravaganza. 





2nd Floor Buffet

Head on up to the second floor to discover a stunning festive spread laid out across Acqua Italian Restaurant and Albero Spanish Restaurant. In addition to the salad bar, fresh seafood station, oyster station, festive carving station and Asian selections, there is also a mouthwatering array of dishes from Acqua and Albero themselves. The former serves up Italian favorites  like braised beef cheek with red wine sauce and octopus stew alla Luciana, while the latter presents their popular seafood paella, venison shank and more. The chefs will be busy all evening at the live cooking stations searing foie gras and slicing Iberico ham to order. Top up on luxury at the caviar station and finish your indulgent meal with a visit (or two) to the dessert section thats stocked full of festive treats. Also, you can choose three dishes from each restaurants own menu food (excluding buffet).
