On December 17 in Yichang, Hubei province, a woman named Mrs. Gao tried to zigzag around cars across a major motorway on her scooter until she was hit by a white car.
Luckily, she did not suffer from any severe injuries and was able to pull herself back up. A traffic officer nearby took her to the side of the road for further discussion.
But within a short 10 minutes, a man attempted to cross the same motorway on foot and was also hit by another white car, at the exact same location where Mrs. Gao was not long prior.
The funny story in all this? The man is Mrs. Gaos husband!
The wife was hit at 9:43 AM, followed by her husband at 9:52 AM.
Destiny? They get hit back to back in 10 mins while crossing!
The man was taken to the hospital and will undergo treatment.
Unfortunately, this happens every day all around China.
Police officers warn citizens to be extremely careful when crossing the street and to use zebra crossings whenever available, even if it extends our journey an extra 2-5 minutes.
