Recently, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its founding, Ma Yun's retirement and birthday, Alibaba held a grand celebration at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, which was quite comparable to the Beijing Olympic Games opening!

More than 60,000 people gathered together. The scale and celebration were the biggest annual meeting that Hangzhou has ever had.

Netizens expressed their admiration and joked:

"Oh, good for them!!! They are so rich!!!"

The event sparked another viral topic on Chinese social media!

#Sixty Thousand People, and No Garbage gained over 170 million views, and 160,000 likes.

Alibaba employees left in an orderly manner, and voluntarily took the garbage that was around them, and sorted it into the proper bins.

There was not a piece of garbage on the ground.

There were 60,000 Alibaba attendants, which means 60,000 bracelets, 60,000 bags, 120,000 support sticks, 120,000 bottles of water, and 120,000 beef meat sticks. A few tons of garbage was created that night.

Alibaba's employees were wandering around looking for garbage, when there wasn't any!

Alibaba also has a project where they turn plastic bottles into trendy raincoats, & their costumes are donated to welfare organizations.

Netizens said: "Good enterprises train good employees, there must be a good habit accumulated over time!"

"Alibaba amazes the whole world!"

"Clean One Square Meter" is a public welfare initiative launched by Alibaba many years ago, calling on employees to take the initiative to clean up the garbage within 1 square meter around them.

"It's really wonder-like to hear such news in China. One netizen said.

We used to say that the Japanese have done a good job in this respect, but now China has also improved! We can see that China is really strong.

The above comments made many people feel gratified as well as ashamed, after all, similar news was like this:

In 2018, after Jay Chou's concert in Zhengzhou, the scene was different.

Fluorescent sticks, disposable raincoats, various food packaging bags...

And this was after a concert in China by BigBang, a Korean group, fans left 10 tons of garbage; plastic bags, wrapping paper and beverage bottles everywhere.

After the night show at Shanghai Disney, the ground was covered with garbage.

Even Teaka Salt Lake, known as "Sky Land", after receiving 40,000 visitors during the summer vacation, became a giant garbage dump. Footwear and plastic bags were discarded at random on the roadside.

During the May Day holiday, 18.2 tons of garbage were cleared from the scenic spots.

Not long ago, at a music festival in Beijing which lasted for two days, a lot of garbage was leftover as well...

There are always various reasons (excuses):

"No trash can."
"The trash can is too far."
"Others are doing the same, why are you pointing your figure at me?!"
"I only dropped a little."

Well.....

Fuji Music (rock) Festival is the largest in Asia, with hundreds of thousands of viewers and it's also Japan's largest outdoor music event. However, after each event, there is no garbage left at the location. How can this be done?

When entering the venue, volunteers will issue bags to the audience for garbage. These bags are made of plastic bottles recycled from the last year's music festival.

When the performance ended at midnight, 100,000 people left, and each of them was carrying a garbage bag. They queued up until 2AM to dispose of it as well.

During the last Basketball world cup, the Japanese team, who lost the match, cleaned the dressing room before leaving and left a message stating Thank you on the whiteboard:

They lost the game, but won the respect of the world.

Also, in the first round of last year's World Cup, Japan beat Colombia by 2-1. After winning the game, the Japanese fans began to pick up the garbage!

No one organized, no one asked, they spontaneously picked up garbage. Colombian fans were moved, and then moved to pick up garbage and clean up the site as well.

We may not change the world, but we can change ourselves. Keeping the environment clean is one of the easiest things to do.

Its a great thing to see that Alibaba employees did a great job and it will be greater to see more people behave like this!
