On October 7, the U.S. Embassy in China issued an operational notice through its official WeChat and Weibo accounts, stating that the accounts will not be regularly updated until full operations resume. In addition, the Embassy's official website shows that "website updates will be limited until full operations resume."

According to an earlier report by the Global Times, the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in China had made a similar announcement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account at 1:23 p.m. Beijing Time on October 3, indicating a temporary pause in regular updates pending the restoration of full embassy operations.
