Touching a woman's ass gets foreign student 5 days detention

A woman said on December 8 that a foreign student "molested" her in public. Surveillance video captured the student's hand touching her behind.

According to reports, that individual is a third-year student at Shanxi University from Turkmenistan.

A reporter called the International Education Exchange Institute of Shanxi University on December 9. A staff member said that the event took place at the door to a bar around 2 a.m. on December 7. 

The security video doesn't make it clear, though, whether the student in question touched the woman's behind. The cops said it was just a brief touch and not molestation. 

The university placed the foreign student in administrative detention for five days, and will now implement stricter disciplinary measures.
