City Welcomes Its First Foreign Red Cross Volunteer

 According to the Red Cross Society of Jincheng, Shanxi Province, on December 12, Yangcheng County's Red Cross Volunteer Association welcomed its first foreign volunteer, Nancy (RUDAKOVA INESA).

  Nancy is from Ukraine. After marrying and settling in Yangcheng for work and family life, she was deeply influenced by the Chinese traditional value of benevolence. Her passion for public welfare drove her to make multiple donations of money and goods to the county's Red Cross Society. Ahead of the 39th International Volunteer Day, she decided to formally join the Yangcheng County Red Cross Volunteer Association, becoming an official Red Cross volunteer.
  On the very day of her induction, Nancy participated in a blood donation volunteer service activity, working alongside other volunteers to spread love and warmth to the community.
  Love knows no borders. The addition of the first foreigner to the Red Cross volunteer organization embodies the spirit of humanity, fraternity, and dedication. This milestone is not only a new highlight for Yangcheng County's public welfare initiatives but also marks a significant step toward the internationalization of Jincheng's Red Cross volunteer services.
  As Nancy expressed, "Participating in volunteer activities is a truly joyful and fulfilling experience. I hope more people will join us in this organization."
