Yi Peng Lantern Festival



The Yi Peng Lantern Festival is for releasing sky lanterns and praying for happiness. It's mainly celebrated in northern Thailand, and Chiang Mai is the top place to enjoy it. When lit, it rises slowly, becoming a bright spot. This festival is popular among young lovers. Couples love to light lanterns together and pray for lasting happiness among the romantic lanterns.

Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok


Fly to Bangkok, be welcomed by a local guide at the airport, take a private transfer to the hotel for check - in, and then relax to overcome jet lag.



Day 2: Bangkok City Discovery by Local Transport


On a full - day guided tour, see Bangkok's main sights using various public transports. The guide will take you by BTS or MRT to a river pier, then by shared water bus. Visit the Grand Palace after disembarking. Have Thai food at a local restaurant and then go to Wat Pho. End the day with a tuk - tuk ride to a flower market and return to the hotel by BTS or MRT.
