National Holiday in 2025 Released!

On 12th of November, 2024,the General Office of the State Council issued a notice regarding the arrangement of some public holidays in 2025. With the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, according to the revised "National Holidays and Memorial Day Holiday Arrangement" in November 2024, starting from January 1, 2025, the public holidays for all citizens will be increased by 2 days, with an additional day for both the Spring Festival and Labor Day.

Except under special circumstances, the Spring Festival holiday will be arranged from Chinese Lunar New Year's Eve for a total of 8 days off, the National Day holiday will be arranged for 7 days off starting from October 1, and the Labor Day holiday will be arranged for 5 days off. New Year's Day, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival will each have 3 days off, either through holiday adjustment or consecutive rest (if they fall on a Wednesday, only that day will be a holiday). If the National Day holiday coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the holiday will be combined for a total of 8 days off.
