  On November 10, a Hainan Airlines flight bound for Shenzhen experienced a bird strike during takeoff. 

  According to a statement from Hainan Airlines on the evening of November 10, Flight HU438, operating from Rome to Shenzhen, was struck by a bird on its right engine during the takeoff phase. In response to the incident, the flight crew immediately followed safety protocols and made the decision to return to the airport.

  The flight safely landed at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 11:06 AM local time (6:06 PM Beijing time). All passengers disembarked in an orderly manner, and the airline is providing appropriate support for their onward travel arrangements.
  Hainan Airlines has expressed sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to passengers and thanked them for their understanding and support.
