The Most Infected Countries by Coronavirus (Infection Density)

Infection Density: The total number of reported infections divided by the total population in that country/region is a index to measure the criticality of the pandemic. Here's the third release of the complete list of countries by number of infections in 100,000 people. 


On March 22 8:40 Beijing Time, the top most infected countries/regions by the number of infections in 100,000 people were:


1- Iceland = 129.8 

2- Luxembourg = 109.1

3- Italy = 88.9

4- Switzerland = 79.9

5- Spain = 52.9

6- Norway = 40.3

7- Austria = 29.9

8- Germany = 26.5

9- Iran = 24.7

10- Belgium = 24.2 


On March 29, the ranking was: 


1- Luxembourg = 261.4

2- Iceland = 244.3

3- Switzerland = 153.8

4- Spain = 153.3

5- Italy = 143.5

6- Austria = 86.4

7- Belgium = 79.2

8- Norway = 70.2

9- Germany = 64.1

10- Netherlands = 55.9


As of April 12, the top 10 countries were: 


1- Luxembourg = 532.7 

2- Iceland = 463.7 

3- Spain = 346.1 

4- Switzerland 292.4 

5- Italy 252.8 

6- Belgium = 243.1 

7- France 193.3 

8- Ireland 181.4 

9- U.S.A = 161.1 

10- Portugal 155.6 


As of April 25, here are the top 10 countries: 


1- Luxembourg = 597.0

2- Iceland = 491.1

3- Spain = 466.5

4- Belgium = 384.3

5- Ireland = 357.7

6- Switzerland = 333.9

7- Italy = 315.3

8- Qatar = 310.3

9- U.S.A = 278.1

10- France = 243.5



The list doesn't include countries/regions with population less than 300,000.
