Coronavirus - Information Required and Support

Dear Students,

 

You might have heard of the Coronavirus that has affected more than 1,200 people mostly from Wuhan city in Hubei province. The Chinese mainland has confirmed 1,287 cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia and 41deaths. The infected number is still increasing. After Wuhan was put under lockdown since Wednesday 22nd Jan, 13 other cities in Hubei have started placing restrictions on movement and shutting down public transportation. Nationwide, local authorities have also implemented a number of measures and restrictions on public gatherings to curb the spread of the disease.

The university has been working on a plan to support students in the best possible way. In order to do this we need any information that you might have. Please send an email to:

[email protected] if

  • You have been to Wuhan on or after 1stof January 2020

  • You have met or know someone from Wuhan

  • You are on campus and do not feel well

 

The university is collecting this information to support our students. It is confidential and the information will not be shared with any third parties or the public.
